Jammy Beggar, 2023.
Jammy Beggar uses close up footage the hands of three people as they prepare and chop apples ready to be cooked and preserved. Food preserving and kitchens are spaces of unseen labour. I am interested in the oral tranmission of recipes and how they are passed on. Sensations of care are present through the handling and touching but also in the care giving quality of food.
